Senior Residents (over 55 years old) and persons with disabilities receive FREE rides to the following destinations:


Monday Night Community Suppers - Berkshire South Regional Community Center (free rides available 4:30PM-6:30PM)


Monday + Friday Community Swim Lessons at the Kilpatrick Athletic Center (free rides available 10AM-12PM)


Thursday morning People's Pantry in Great Barrington (free rides available 9AM-12:30PM)


Thursday afternoon Farmer's Market in West Stockbridge - DOUBLE SNAP benefits (free rides available 2:30PM-6PM)


Friday afternoon Sheffield Farmer's Market - TRIPLE SNAP benefits (free rides available 2PM-5PM)


Saturday morning Great Barrington Farmer's Market - DOUBLE SNAP benefits (free rides available 9AM-1PM)


Seniors and persons with disabilities may purchase a discounted book of tickets for 10 one-way rides, at the   Claire Teague Senior Center   transportation office, in Great Barrington, weekdays 8:00AM to 4:00PM. Ticket books may also be purchased on the vans and at other local Senior Centers.

 

Prices for these discounted tickets are: $15.00 for travel within one town, a 25% discount, and $25.00 for multi-town trips, a 38% discount. Additionally weekly unlimited in-town passes are available for purchase for $15.00.

 

Rides are also available (for seniors only) to New Marlborough, from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, on weekdays only ($4.00 each way), and to medical appointments in Pittsfield for $20.00 (round trip) but only between 8:00AM and 4:00PM, on Mondays and Wednesdays.
